Start Build Launch helps organisations move from a real problem to something that can be tested, and gives independent builders the templates, tools and resources to launch their own ideas.
01 · Why we exist
Built to close a gap.
Start Build Launch was created to address a major gap: the lack of accessible tools, support and guidance that many people face when building something online. It began with done-for-you templates, tools, workshops and courses for people without technical expertise.
The same approach now extends to organisations: helping them turn real community and operational problems into practical digital prototypes, tested with the people who use them.
02 · How we work
Evidence before investment.
The value is in solving the problem, not in using technology for its own sake. Every piece of work moves through the same stages, and a prototype is never treated as a finished product.

03 · The role of AI
AI is a tool, not the headline.
We use AI where it genuinely helps: exploring possibilities, analysing information, planning and building prototypes, accelerating iteration and analysing feedback. Human judgement stays at the centre, and important decisions are never hidden behind AI.
04 · Accessibility and inclusion
Designed for everyone from the start.
Accessibility is considered from the beginning of every build, not added at the end. Our work aims for WCAG 2.2 AA, and we design for people with low digital confidence, assistive technology or limited connectivity.
We are committed to extending our resources to those who need them most, including young people, people from minority backgrounds and those facing economic challenges, through partnerships with charities and organisations.
