Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you use startbuildlaunch.com, buy a digital product from us, or work with us on a project. StartBuildLaunch is run by Avis J. Williams in London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). “You” means the person using the site, and any organisation you represent.

By using the site or buying from us you agree to these terms. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in them affects your legal rights.

1. Using this website

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm, harass or inconvenience anyone else.
  • All content on the site, including text, graphics, logos, code and designs, belongs to StartBuildLaunch unless stated otherwise. You may view and print it for your own personal, non-commercial use. Anything else needs our written permission.

2. Digital products

Our templates, WordPress themes, courses, ebooks and business kits are licensed to you, not sold. What you can do with them depends on the licence you buy; see our License Terms.

  • Delivery: after payment you will receive an email with your receipt and a download link.
  • Coupon codes: offers and coupon codes must be used at the time of purchase.
  • Themes: our WordPress themes are tested on a clean installation of WordPress. We cannot guarantee they will work with every third-party plugin, browser or change made to the theme files.

3. Support for digital products

We provide technical support for 6 months from the date of purchase, covering installation, set-up and technical issues. After that the product keeps working and you still receive updates; ongoing support can be bought again.

Support does not cover:

  • Customisations to themes or templates.
  • General WordPress, Kadence, SEO, WooCommerce or email-marketing questions.
  • Third-party plugins, including the plugins we recommend; our themes are styled to match them, but their functionality is supported by their own developers.
  • Your clients. If you set up a theme for a client, you support that client.

4. Services for organisations

This covers our AI builds, workshops, Build Lab, commissioned builds and website services. Each project is set out in a written proposal or Statement of Work. If that document, or a signed agreement, differs from these terms, the signed document applies. Unless it says otherwise:

  • Scope and changes: work is based on the agreed scope. Changes are agreed in writing, including any effect on fee and timeline, before they go ahead.
  • Payment: fees are paid in the agreed milestones. Final handover takes place once the final payment has been received.
  • Acceptance: you review each deliverable against the agreed criteria within the agreed review period and tell us in writing about anything that does not meet them.
  • Timelines: dates are targets. They depend on timely feedback, access, data and approvals.
  • Ownership: your data, content and brand stay yours. We keep our pre-existing code, components, tools and know-how, and you receive a licence to use what we build for your own organisation (see our License Terms).
  • Third-party costs: hosting, subscriptions, AI and API usage, domains and other services are separate from our fee and paid by you.
  • Warranty: we fix defects in the agreed deliverables for 30 days after launch. Ongoing support is available under a separate agreement.

5. AI tools and recommendations

Some of our products and builds use AI. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check it before relying on it. Recommendations support decisions; they do not guarantee results, employment or any other outcome.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

7. Feedback you send us

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve our products without paying you. We will not publish your personal information or anything you tell us is confidential without your permission.

8. Our liability

  • The website and its content are provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted.
  • We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss of profit, revenue or data where you use our products or services for business purposes.
  • For business customers, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

9. Third-party products and links

We may link to or recommend products and services from other companies, including through affiliate links. Those companies are responsible for their own products, orders and support, and your dealings with them are on their terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you make a purchase or sign an agreement applies to that purchase or agreement.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.

12. Contact
